Ian Clark wanted the #Canucks to pick a goaltender and he got his wish: Aku Koskenvuo.

With two picks in Round Five, the Canucks have rolled the dice on a big Finnish kid who seems to be exactly the type of goaltender that Canucks goalie guru Ian Clark can mold into a quality puck stopper.
Koskenvuo is heading to Harvard in 2022, so it’ll be a while before we can get a good idea of what they have in him. He was the 4th ranked European goaltender by NHL Central Scouting.
Some seem to have been turned off by a less than stellar performance for Finland at the World Under 18’s, where he went 3-3-0 with a 4.23 GAA and a .874 save %, with one shutout, but this looks like someone the Canucks definitely wanted, and had input from Clark on the pick.
Aku Koskenvuo is the goalie the #Canucks have chosen in this year's draft. Lucky for you, he was the prospect I zeroed in on months ago. My deep dive on his game, here:https://t.co/ZTPJQDmvKv

With the No. 137 pick in the 2021 #NHLDraft, the Vancouver Canucks select GAku Koskenvuo of HIFK.

He was ranked at No. 86.
"Koskenvuo checks all the boxes. He’s athletic, has the size, some decent mobility and his rebound control is really good." https://t.co/ubjr4KIGJK
