Stop me if you’ve seen this before.
Get out to a 2 goal lead in the 1st...
Canucks 2-0
I saw this game — Westy
get into trouble in the 2nd...
Bah
Amazing what happens when you just sit back and let the other team roll. — Twitchy
But wait! There’s a tie to play for. Or allow.
Wow
ridiculously casual play costs us the lead. Also that ottawa horn button pusher needs a kick in the fingers. — Twitchy
THE PRETTY (1st)
Bo & Brock rock it.

Motte is back to tater tot the PK. That’s good. Tatering on the PP tho... hmmm...
Nucks allow fewer shots against than the last game vs the last place team in the division, so that’s good.
THE NOT SO GOOD
Giving up the lead in the 3rd. Again. To the same team as the last game. Not learning to play the full 60. Or not choosing to play the full 60. Whatever.
Do we need to mention the Schmidty Fedling? No, we don’t.
Shout out to the pathetic NHL reffing. Missed/blown calls.
Game thread was looking for more...
finally a penalty
after all those times when there should have been a penalty — Raddy
Nucks PP has lost it’s lucky mojo. Why not add some Pepper Pot?
Nucks lost Pearson to the Faeries who can’t feast only on skinny Swedes, young American and tasty, but cranky French players.
THE GOOD EFFORT AWARD
Sutter gets the coveted NM GEA.
What a great
foundational backcheck by sutter on that breakaway! Ottawa PxP guy giving demko all the love there, but it was sutter who saved the goal. Foundationally. — Twitchy
— Jake should watch that video on repeat — Raddy
errrrrr SUTTER ... https://t.co/8tlFMZOwAt pic.twitter.com/OyWTjmZskI
— Vancouver #Canucks (@Canucks) March 18, 2021
I know, Demmers deserves to win the GEA. However, also know he deserves a far more prestigious award and far more prestigious contract. No worries. He’s on track to get both.
If there was a consolation GEA it might have been awarded to Bo. But there isn’t, so we can’t. Bo knows what he needs to know. As far as we know.
Game Thread Game Synopsis
Well Ottawa didn’t deserve the point
as much as they did on Monday…but I guess the Canucks were feeling Karmically in debt. — Twitchy

Another winnning zoom road presser? You decide.
Post-game availability expected to include Gaudette, Boeser & Demko, followed by Coach Green.#Canucks | @TheProvince https://t.co/1Pqoxmb12j

They don’t ask how. NM does. Not just how, but why. Also when. And definitely who.
However, they only ask how many wins.
Thanks for asking. 2 games on the road trip trot. Which means a 3 Game WIN STREAK!!!
As they say...
The team took care of business, won the winnable games. That’s the most important thing on the road: win the games you are supposed to win. Then you worry about stealing a couple from the rest.If we get one or two points from this weekend, we are good. — Atty
That’s because the weekend is a B-2-B in the home of Habitual Toffee parties. We liked that flavour of sniping last season. This one... not so much.
Oh well... we can dare to dream the Nucks having been saving their full 60 effort for the far eastern leg of the voyage. And saving Holtz for the HNIC showcase? We’ll find out soon enough.
