Gamethread #33: Canucks vs Senators

What’s bigger news for the day....the Canucks are trying to beat the Sens for the 5th straight time or that the Canucks picked up another former Leaf? I remember the Canucks trying to get Vesey when he came out of college. Vesey never really turned into the player everyone thought he could be, but he might play better than most of the bottom-six we have right now.

Should talk about how bad the Canucks played last game and how lucky they were to get two points? No....ok, let’s move then.

Should we talk about the fact that Braden Holtby needs to win a few games himself for this team, if there is any chance of getting to the playoffs? No.....ok, then.

Should we talk about Loui Eriksson? No....

Fine, bring up your own issues during the game then.

The issue that really hurts the Canucks is that they need to beat Montreal in the next two games and Montreal needs to lose those games in hand for the Canucks to have a serious shot at 4th place.

But first.....the Canucks have to win today.
