Gamethread #10: Canucks vs Senators

Can the Canucks get the sweep against Ottawa?

NHL: Ottawa Senators at Vancouver Canucks Bob Frid-USA TODAY Sports

Can the Canucks make it three in a row? Why not?

The first line seemed to have found its groove last night. Tyler Motte and the fourth line got a couple of dirty goals. Thatcher Demko turned into a professional magician as he has stopped every shot except one.

The team needed this. We needed this. And now a sweep of the Sens would be what this team needed as it plays a stronger Jets team in the next game. (Looking ahead of this game is bad.)

.500 was the goal at the start of the three game series and now it is within reach, if the Canucks play like they did in the second period of last night instead of the first period.

I am calling out Tanner Pearson for tonight’s game. He needs to get to the shooting spots on the ice and get some confidence, just like Petey did. I’m sure Bo can get him the puck.

Tonight is #BellLetsTalk day. The ironic part of this hashtag is that is it should also have a #BellLetsListen day. Everyone who wants to talk needs that person to sit and listen without judgment.

Go Canucks Go!
