The Canucks woke up last game, but still didn’t play a full 60 minute game. If the game had been 1 minute longer.....well, let’s move on and focus on the fact they did win and found a way to score 4 goals against Alex Stalock. The first line was able to score 5 on 5. The second line scored 5 on 5. And the powerplay was able to score. The Canucks penalty kill was able to kill off 7 penalties ( 6 of them by defensemen). Now if they could just shut down Kevn Fiala. Maybe the Canucks should send tough guy Elias Pettersson to push him around.
This early game time brings a new wrinkle to this series and the game tomorrow could be the end for one these teams. But let’s focus on today. Michael Ferland is done for the series and probably for the year. I’m still not sure why he fought in game one and I’m not sure what happened to him in game 2. I just hope he’s gets better.
Ferland agent Jason Davidson - “Mike is on his way home after a really solid camp and game 1, this is not what he wanted for himself and his teammates.”

I will say this for the umpteenth time this year.
This is a must-win game.
Based on all the clues, I'd guess these are the lines for tonight:

Miller-Pettersson-Boeser
Pearson-Horvat-Eriksson
Roussel-Sutter-MacEwen
Motte-Beagle-Virtanen
(ie. swap in MacEwen for Ferland)
Check back in 10 minutes!
I’m sure Rob meant today!
Welcome to the series Zack MacEwen! Go hit someone.
Travis Green making things interesting
Zack MacEwen, Olli Juolevi, Antoine Roussel, and Adam Gaudette are all on the ice for warmup. 20 skaters on the ice for the #Canucks
