Round One is now in the books, and little drama occurred.

Oh, except for your Vancouver Canucks knocking off the defending Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues.

Their series-winning momentum dissipated against Vegas in Game One, but don’t give up hope yet. I give you three reasons why the Canucks can beat Vegas today on The Quickie.

The Favourites Came to Play in Round One

This is another feather in the cap of those Vancouver Canucks, after they beat the defending Stanley Cup champions in six games.

(I know I already mentioned that once, and you all know that, but typing it and saying it out loud hasn’t gotten old yet).

Aside from the Canucks and the Islanders, Round One was filled with quick series full of favourites moving on. I give four of them in particular lots of love here.
