Two IDIOTS Predict the NHL Play-In Round | Silky N’ Filthy podcast

Don’t listen to the experts. It’s entertainment. Listen to the idiots.

A little personal reflection here. I spent the early 2010s grinding through Journalism school. I’ve been writing about the Canucks in some capacity in seven years. Somehow, I was hired to take on the role of Deputy Editor for this growing website.

So, why call myself an idiot?

Well, if you listen back to our playoff preview episode for 2019, you’ll hear me absolutely butcher my first round picks.

Then in the second round, I went 0 for 4.

Should I really be in this hockey writing and editing business?

As my co-host Kyle Bhawan likes to say, it is what it is. Onto a new year, and a whole new set of predictions.

This prediction show was an absolute blast based on the fact that A) We’re hockey starved and that seemingly will end next week and B) This is likely a once-in-a-lifetime type of play-in round.

So get ready for hockey to come back, get ready for potentially some wacky results, and tun into the latest episode of Silky N’ Filthy where we try not to butcher the picks.

Of course though, we can’t make any promises.
