The City of Vancouver has nothing but love for Sweden — and the same applies for the podcast with the West Coast bias.
On the latest episode of Silky N’ Filthy, Kyle Bhawan and I break down some actual NHL news, as Nils Hoglander recently signed his three-year entry level deal with the Canucks.
Nils Hoglander, welcome to the #Canucks! The 19-year-old Swedish forward was signed a three-year contract today. https://t.co/biYLhnS7OB

We make our predictions on what happens with Hoglander next season, and get into some of our favourite Swedish hockey names of all time.
The all-Swedish episode continues with our debate over who the greatest Swedish player is in NHL history. Kyle says there’s no debate, but I think it’s up in the air.
What do you think?

We also debated the greatest Swedish players in the NHL today. Again, Kyle was adamant that there was no debate, and that Elias Pettersson is the best Swede in the NHL today.
I guess I’m gunning to be a villain on this site....because I don’t believe Pettersson is the best Swedish player in the NHL today. He will get there, but it’s a disservice to Victor Hedman and Mika Zibanejad — two players in their prime — to say that Pettersson is better at this moment.
Let’s ask for your humble opinions on this once again, shall we?
