How about some made up stats?

Let’s look at who was good...or not good.

The season’s coming back!!

Let’s not talk about it right now.

Let’s look at some numbers to see if our loud opinion about Canuck players can be reinforced by some quick maths.

Here is the stat I am using to show production:

I think I made this up three or four years ago and no one has called bullshit, so I keep using it. The four stats used are all at even strength and so only part of this team is told. But we can talk about stupid penalties by veterans another day.

I will only point out three observations from this table and let the rest of you rip it apart.

  1. Jay Beagle is a the definition of “hot mess” when it comes to playing at even strength.
  2. Tanner Pearson was not as good as my eyes thought he was.
  3. Maybe the Canucks should re-sign Stetcher....but maybe his 5vs5 numbers are due to being sheltered.

Go to it apart. You don’t have much else to do right now, or at least you shouldn’t.

Stay safe everyone.
