We knew it was just a matter of time til we got this announcement. Let’s hope it’s not serious. Here’s a look at how this might have happened:

So as we look for some encouraging news, the word yesterday that a group of NHL players have been working on a proposal for re-starting the season had some people excited. But should they be?

Here’s what they’re propsing:

I have two issues with this: 1) Why finish the schedule? Points percentage could be used to determine seeding (as it looks like they will do in the CHL), and 2) They want a full 82 game season next year starting in November? There’s no way in hell this doesn’t end in a metric shit-ton of injuries, especially for this godforsaken team.
