Gamethread #63: Canucks vs Senators

Canucks look for 3 wins in a row.

The rollercoaster of the past two games has been fun, hasn’t it? First the Canucks demolish Boston and then we learnt hat Marky is gone for 3-4 weeks and then the Nucks beat the Habs in Montreal for the first time in almost 9 years. Demko played well and Toffoli continues to take up more space in our hearts, as he scored the winner in O/T.

Today the Canucks go to the nation’s capital to face a Senators team that still sucks. Long are the days since Daniel Alfredsson and Chris Phillips. The Sens used the trade deadline to stock up on draft picks, which may seem awesome for them, but you wonder how long any good players will stay in Ottawa with such a crappy owner.

The Canucks have won the past 4 meetings between the two teams, including their only meeting this year in Vancouver, where the Nucks won 5-2. with the Golden Knights beating the Oilers yesterday, the Nucks can add space between themselves and the Oilers.

Only 20 games left....and we are still talking about playoffs. This year has been way better than the previous 4.

Go Canucks Go!
