Well, I hope you are smiling on your way out of bed.
Before the puck dropped last Saturday night, the term swing game was thrown around for your Vancouver Canucks. The boys from the city pick up the dub and optimism gets to rent out your heart for few more weeks. If the opposite came to fruition, local dispensaries would of seen a spike in sales for their products catered for those who choose to let the actions of ice skating men take a tole on their everyday life.
What a city.
And most importantly what a win. That Vancouver, that was fun.
Well, not for everyone
Should of just purchased some cryptocurrency bud.

J.T. Miller is doing the unthinkable...
Yes, everything happened from Horvat playing his best game of the season to Twofolli picking up a couple of bingos from the slot to Quinn fucken Hughes putting the world on notice again. But let’s be real, once again we witnessed why the other trade was worth it. That one back in June of 2019. That one that had me being one of those stress cases who hit up the dispensary because those men who skate around effect my livelihood.
The city is absolutely blessed to have J.T. Miller play for their team. The Ohio native has arguably been the teams best skater throughout the year. His 62 points gives him a 3 point lead over the face of the franchise, a stat nobody saw coming. Not even the spirit who dishes out all the cards in this place called the universe saw this coming.
JT Miller is 3 points clear of Petey now.

How crazy is it to think that the Canucks points leader ISN'T Pettersson this late into the season? pic.twitter.com/sBiyRBcwIq
What does April J.T. feel like?
As of now, he is doing the unthinkable but what happens when the games that really matter are paired with the really sauce? With his motor being equipped with higher class than a hemi, the best is yet to come. Just close your eyes and try to visualize what this type of play driver could do in the middle of April.
Oh Huncho, my Huncho
The floor is yours Jeff.
Horvat needed a game like this. Team was sagging. He wasn't producing. He's the captain. Best team in league in town. Big road trip ahead. Has shown up in a large way tonight

Now that’s a stat I tell ya
What a performance by the captain.
Horvat now given an assist on the Eriksson goal for the first Canucks regular season Gordie Howe hat trick in nearly 20 years! https://t.co/H1fXgJJWFt

Wait, how bout the Grizzly dude?
Yes, even after the ass kicking the Canucks laid on the Bruins in what was another one of those, most important games of the year types of games, I was still left a bit hungry. There is was still sliver of sourness with me once the final buzzer was brought to life.
Why didn’t anyone do anything to Matt Grzelcyk? I mean, he did deliver a cheap shot to Elias fucken Pettersson.
Again, nobody needed to get hurt but caaaaamaaan, it’s Elias Pettersson.
Year in and year out teams have gotten away with taking their chances with a borderline attack on Canucks players and prolifically frolic away fearless of what is to come because even they know, nothing is to come.
Something would of been nice. Even a nice little noogy during a scrum would of tickled a bit of the city's fancy.
This is what the city dreams about
Tater Tot Motte
Yes, that is the nickname we have given to one the best forth liners in the NHL. He is the definition of a good try-hard and deserves the creativity of those at our network.
Also, he kind of looks like a tater totte. I mean, tater tot.
Tyler Motte is the best of the fourth liners

Listen to the latest episode of Sippin’ On A 40 to learn everything you need to know about the history of the notorious junk food & receive a recap of last nights activities.
If it was his last game...
The dude from Richmond was at his best last night. Not known for much offensively, Stecher found a way to pick up 3 points including a goal during one the more notable Saturday nights at the Rog in quite sometime.
If that was his last competition with the Canucks, salute to you. Sure, things haven’t worked out perfectly between the organization and Troy, but it never got in the way for the former North Dakota Assistant Captain from giving it his all every night. From the moment he got to Vancouver in 2016, he helped set a standard for compete in that dressing room.
He has that thing you simply cannot teach.
“I’m from here and I love playing here. I take pride whenever I put on that jersey, and I try to represent the city with respect and try to make (the fans) proud. If I’m here, I’ll continue to do that. If not, then I enjoyed my time here.” - Troy Stecher on trade rumours #Canucks

What I’ll look like sometime in March
Jake Virtanen needs three more goals to turn my life upside down.
As stated over a year ago, @kylebhawan told the world that if the Abbotsford native were to ever pick up a 20 bingo season, he would shotgun three fucken tall cans. A feat that once seemed impossible is now just weeks away.
The visualization is in the process.
Get Tanbir the Interview
The man deserves it for the faith he always has shown in #shotgunjake.
Francesco, give your people what they want and allow Tanbir and The SCT Show to sit down one on one with the most polarizing player in your organization.
When we all gave up, he didn’t.

The #Quinning streak extends to 60 games
Alright, lame ass hashtag but to be honest we are all winning when witnessing the legend, yes legend of Quinn fucken Hughes.
It’s been 50 years but finally, yes finally we have that guy.
Hughes joined Bryan Berard (40 in 1996-97), Janne Niinimaa (40 in 1996-97) and Nicklas Lidstrom (49 in 1991-92) as just the fourth rookie defenseman in the last 30 years with 40-plus assists in a single season. #NHLStats pic.twitter.com/rpNQTl9yus

Keep on smiling Vancouver
This is how you’re suppose to feel after winning this type of swing game.
Meaningful hockey completes the city.
