Canucks face the division leaders at Rogers Arena

The roller coaster road trip is over and the Canucks return to the sweet confines of Rogers Arena to face the division leading Arizona Coyotes. I’m not sure how many times I have said that a game is the biggest game of the year, but let me use it again...

“BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!”

Hands up if you thought last July, that the Coyotes would be the leading in the Pacific in January.

The Coyotes, like the rest of the division have been average this year. But looking at their roster, they could be dangerous if they get into the playoffs. Canuck killer, Taylor Hall has 13 points in 14 games with them. Phil Kessel is always dangerous. The Yotes have won the last four against the Canucks and have done a great job of making it difficult for the Nucks to get over the center line.

The Canucks don’t play many divisional games until March, so they better win the ones they have until then. After watching the last game, I wonder if the line blender gets going early if the Canucks don’t get some early goals?

I’m calling a Beagle goal tonight....because I can.

Go Canucks Go!
