The Canucks are down in the US Southwest tonight as they take on the Los Angeles Kings in a preseason contest in Salt Lake City. They have compiled a 3-1-0 record in the preseason so far, and have scored an impressive 16 goals in that time span.
The Canucks made some cuts today, sending a number of players to Utica, for the Comets training camp that gets underway Sunday. Landon Ferraro was released from his PTO.

Justin Bailey, Brogan Rafferty, Lukas Jasek, Olli Juolevi, Kole Lind and Josh Teves have all been sent to the AHL. In addition, Bailey cleared waivers this morning, so he will be reporting to Utica. Here’s what we should see on the ice tonight for your Vancouver Canucks:

Adam Gaudette, Reid Boucher, Zack MacEwan, Tyler Graovac, Ashton Sautner, Jalen Chatfield and Nikolay Goldobin are all getting another chance to prove they should stick with the parent club, and it will be interesting to see who among them stands out. Zane McIntyre and Richard Bachman are the goaltenders tonight, with McIntyre likely starting.
They’re up against an LA team with a familiar face in the lineup tonight. Ben Hutton will be in against his old squad for the first time tonight. Hutton signed a 1 year, $1.5 Million deal with the Kings earlier in the week. We’re still trying to track down the Kings lineup tonight, so we’ll have that one for you when it’s posted.
