BOSTON BRUINS VS ST LOUIS BLUES- 8:00PM EDT/5:00PM PDT- (Series tied 2-2)
It’s been a very back and forth series, with the Bruins unable to lead by more than one game before the Blues tied the series back up, and now heading back to Boston, the Bruins might need to be concerned heading into Game 5. The Blues have been rather dominant in all of the Games 5, 6 and 7s they’ve played in this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs. They’re also going to be without Zdeno Chara, who suffered a broken jaw after taking a puck to the face. And uh, I am just gonna leave this here...

Bruins fans: “Blues are the dirtiest team in the NHL”
Or will they, because this happened:
On one hand, it’s another example of the lengths players will go to all for raising that silver chalice. On the other, it’s always disturbing to see a player who by all means should not be playing tonight brushing off a significant injury, and risking a premature end to their career by doing so. On the third hand, it’s the Bruins and we’re not going to shed tears for a city that’s going to have a straight pride parade because of course they are (not posting links, these guys are idiots and the City of Boston should be ashamed of caving to this garbage).
As far as St Louis, they’ve done a good job of responding to tough losses, especially after getting the doors blown off in Game 3. They’ve suffered some injuries of their own, but it certainly feels like if they can buck the trend and be the first team to win 2 games in a row in this series, we could see them raise the Cup at home Sunday night. And while much of this coverage over here of this series has been negative (because, duh) here’s a positive thing for you to read today: A piece on the St Louis Blues’ very good boy.
GAME DAY BATTLE HYMN
Avant-garde, technical thrash? It’s a thing, and Anacrusis were one of the best. They released 4 albums in their time, but the St Louis band’s final album ‘Screams and Whispers’ is an underrated masterpiece. From that album, here’s ‘Release’. Enjoy the game, if that’s your thing.
