This is how you make the best of a bad situation and boy, was I in a hole coming out of Round Two.
Yep, I’m that guy who gets to proudly wear the badge of shame after going 0-4 on my picks in Round Two. Did I have some regrets after my previous picks? Sure. Did I think I could still get at least one or two right? Of course I did.
Did I crush a beer for every Round Two loss on the latest episode of Silky N’ Filthy? You’re god damn right I did.
How else is one supposed to cope with such failure?
On the bright side, the rage of predicting every series wrong makes for an energized episode of Silky N’ Filthy.

And what’s a rage-fueled episode without talking about hockey most notorious rat?
Brad Marchand was his typical self in Round Two, pissing people off while making a difference on the score sheet. Kyle Bhawan and I talk about his surprising rise to prominence after 6 NHL seasons as a 50-60 point guy. What changed with his game?
We also break down the rest of the series in Round Two, and I curse two teams in Round Three by once again, picking two more underdogs.
Here’s a breakdown of the episode.
- Intro (2:00)
- Beggsy’s Round Two blues (3:45)
- Rise of the Rat (7:45)
- What happened to the BJ’s? (20:00)
- What banners should the losing teams raise? (21:00)
- Beauties of the Week: Maroon & Slavin (26:30)
- Trevor’s Eastern Conference curse (33:00)
- Battle of Sad Clubs in the West (38:45)
