ST LOUIS BLUES VS DALLAS STARS- 8:00PM EDT/5:00PM PDT- (Series tied 3-3)

Is this one gonna be a war? It feels like it’s gonna be a war. If you thought the NHL and it’s officials failed last night’s test in Game 6 between Boston and Columbus, just wait til you see how they bungle any incident that should result in a player getting tossed tonight! And believe me, this series is ripe with potential. Two teams that flat out hate each other, slashing incidents, diving and a few borderline hits over six games adds up to the potential for mayhem tonight when you have officials afraid to make the right call because of the potential impact.

As far as the actual hockey goes, the Stars are heading into tonight confident despite missing an opportunity to end the series on Sunday afternoon. The key for Dallas is definitely Ben Bishop. He didn’t finish the game after taking a Colton Parayko slapshot to the collar bone Sunday but will play tonight.

St Louis needs the improbable run of Jordan Binnington to continue. At some point it has to run out of steam so that he can go join Jim Carey, Andrew Hammond and other trivia question responses.

Don’t expect any changes for the Blues, but Roope Hintz didn’t skate for Dallas and was wearing a walking boot as a precaution yesterday. He will probably be a game time decision tonight.

A little POWER TRIP should set the mood nicely as the Stars head into the Hornets Nest in St Louis...
