Game Five this afternoon in San Jose. Someone’s gonna take control of this series, right?

SAN JOSE SHARKS VS ST LOUIS BLUES- (Series Tied 2-2)

If there’s been a constant in this series, it’s been that we haven’t seen consistency. Every time one of the teams manages to get a leg up, they get knocked back down to earth the following game. So going by that schedule, the Sharks will win today, right? The Sharks are playing their cards close to their chest, but as game time nears, we should find out if the ailing defenceman will suit up today. If he can’t go, that’s a big blow to San Jose, who not only have to bring in someone to fill his roster spot, but also divide up his minutes (since obviously someone who hasn’t been playing isn’t going to be the one skating beside Brent Burns). And that in turn puts more pressure on Martin Jones, who once again finds himself the focus as he needs to come up with a win today. They don’t want to be heading back to St Louis with the chance of being eliminated.
