Gamethread #68: Canucks vs Oilers

I hope you took the time to bask in the glow of the Canucks victory over the center of the universe last night.

Ok, now back to the present. The Canucks face their neighbor and rival for a potential wildcard spot in the Edmonton Oilers. I’ll be honest, it still boggles my mind as to how the Oilers have been this bad for this long. They have arguably the best player on the planet and some supporting cast and yet again this year they are on the out side of the playoff hunt. The Canucks are one of the reasons for the Oilers bad record as the Canucks have won two out three games so far.

A Canuck win tonight will prove we were right in getting rid of Sam Gagner!! Of course if he scores tonight Canucks Twitter will go nuts.
