Gamethread #73: Canucks vs Blackhawks

How about those Canucks! They get screwed over by the referees and win in a shootout. Not often you both of those in one game. If the Stars get into the playoffs by a point, they better send a thank you to the guys in the “war room” for not doing their job.

Anyways, onto today and the reality that the Canucks have a 0.3% chance of making the playoffs.

Umm..no. There is no chance....but the Canucks can sure screw some other teams out of a chance in their last 10 games. Tonight’s foes, the Blackhawks are only 5 points out of a spot and have won 5 in a row. If the Canucks can’t make it then why in the hell should the Blackhawks!! While the Hawks won the last match up in O/T, the Canucks haven’t lost in regulation to the Hawks in Jan 2017.

I love these games against Chicago as they are usually free-wheeling games end to end. Tim Schaller better score 2 goals again today or else we should trade the bum.
