Remember the days when Vancouver dominated Carolina? Well that memory is getting more distant. In the last 5 meetings between the two teams, Carolina has won 4 out of 5 of those, including the last two in Vancouver by 3 goals each time.
The Canucks are now 3 points behind Vegas for the final wildcard spot, but have games in hand. It would be nice if the Canucks were at least even-steven with them before they meet later in the month.
December and the term “must-win” seems early, but I will keep using it if the goal is the playoffs for this team.
Carolina is also trying to keep ahead of the wildcard pack in the east. The Canucks would be wise to stay out of the box against the Hurricanes, as their PP is close to Vancouver’s successful rate.
If I can’t hear you cheer through the internet, it doesn’t count.
