Silky N’ Filthy podcast: Infamous NHL & West Coast Bias returns (sort of)

We tried to stay true to our roots during the terrible, no good week in the NHL.

What a terrible week for the NHL, the Vancouver Canucks, and the hosts of Silky N’ Filthy.

Stories you hate to hear have been making the rounds. The Canucks just lost a heartbreaker to the Pittsburgh Penguins that probably should have been a blowout for the home team. Worst of all, Silky N’ Filthy hosts Kyle and I had to record the episode over Skype!

Despite being separated by the distance, the brotherhood of the pod and our love for the game brought us together once again. We tried to bring some fun and love back to the game we love, by finding the silver linings in all the shitty stories making the rounds this week.

There’s always that silver lining, eternal optimists.

We get back to the West Coast Bias (sort of) by talking about the a B.C. boy who is struggling back East. Kyle and I also give a shout out to things going on in Canada, particularly here out West.

If you want a dose of optimism with a West Coast Bias, plug in the headphones and treat yourself to an eargasm.

Here’s a rundown of the episode.

  • Silver lining of the terrible, no good week in the NHL (3:00)
  • Price is not right, Montreal is the new Philly & Cock talk (11:00)
  • West Coast Bias time: Sharks streak, Horny Ducks snapped a streak and a bad chirp (17:00)
  • Meanwhile in Canadia: Take off the damn pants (30:30)
  • Beauty of the Week & Asshat of the week (38:00)

Oh, and if you haven’t done so already, this is all we ask of you for Christmas...
