The Canucks are struggling. The swagger of October has been replaced by hesitant skating and passing. We all knew tough times would come at some point and November’s schedule seemed like the right spot. So in that sense, the Canucks are predictable. The question becomes, how different is this team from the one’s of years past that would let a 4 game losing streak turn into a 9 game streak?
The Canucks face a Nashville team that is led by their defensemen. While Canucks fans rejoice at having Quinn Hughes, the Preds seem to always have at least one stud defenseman and this year they have two who lead the team in scoring (Josi & Ellis). The Canucks have only beaten the Preds once in their last five meetings.
Tonight has to be the night the Canucks come to play and win. The schedule for the rest of the month is brutal and the Canucks need to regain that confidence they had in October.
Go Canucks Go!
