CANADA vs SOUTH KOREA
Jyske Bank Boxen- Herning, Denmark
TV and Radio: TSN
Having your best player unable to participate in a shootout because he took a penalty during game play? Not ideal. Also not ideal: Outshooting your opponent by a nearly 2-1 margin and losing the game in a shootout. That means two changes for Team Canada heading into their second preliminary round matchup, one being a change in goal. Curtis McElhinney gets the crease today after a performance from Darcy Keumper in the game against the USA that saw him spend a lot of time fighting the puck. The other change is Joel Edmondson inserted into the lineup. Edmondson will skate on the top pairing with Aaron Ekblad. These were the lines at practice, according to TSN:
RNH-McDavid-Schwartz
O’Reilly-Schenn-Bailey
Beauvillier-Barzal-Eberle
Dubois-Horvat-Pageau
Jost
Edmunson-Ekblad
Murray-Parayko
