Bo’s a Go for Team Canada at the World’s

NHL: Boston Bruins at Vancouver Canucks Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

Bo was invited earlier last week to join Team Canada at the World’s in Denmark. However, taking a cue from the Twin anti-limelighters, he waited until the Sedins were out of the media glare. We knew he was classy too.

Joining Bo on the team is McDavid and Nugent-Hopkins, local Calder Whizkid, Mathew Barzal, Jordan Eberle and Ryan Pulock from the Isles, Thomas Chabot from the Sens and Ryan O’Reilly from the Sabres.

Bo’s last played for Canada at the World Juniors in 2014, scored one goal in seven games.

Team Canada won’t have too much trouble scoring goals by the net-full with those forwards announced so far. More players in red will be revealed soon.

Congrats to Bo! Only have one word for Bo in Copenhagen - smør kage. Ok, that’s two. But only scarf the pastries after the tournament.

The World’s begin May 4th in Copenhagen and Herning, Denmark.
