It's #Canucks and Coyotes in the Dahlin Bowl tonight, so give me a Reid Boucher hat trick in a 4-3 regulation loss please and thank you.

Funny thing, if these two teams continue to play the way they have over the last couple weeks, we could see a situation where the Coyotes have actually caught the Canucks in the standings by Thursday. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean the Canucks would be in 31st, because there’s still Ottawa and Buffalo between them, but it is a possible scenario. I would only look forward to that to see the light that it casts upon the Canucks re-upping Jim Benning.
The last game these two teams played was... not good. Especially from a Canucks viewpoint. I would imagine that being on the road and with that particularly embarrassing effort still fresh in their minds, we see the Canucks come out a little more engaged in the process. One would also think that with these teams meeting so often of late, that the potential for some post-whistle fireworks is there. Heads on a swivel around Max Domi might be good advice for this contest.
The Coyotes have recalled Dylan Strome for this contest, and while he’s not listed in the possible lineup here, he should play tonight, and we can expect Darcy Kuemper, who slept his way to victory against the Canucks last week, in goal for the Coyotes tonight. Jacob Markstrom will likely get the start again tonight for the Canucks, and then we’ll see Anders Nilsson against Los Angeles Monday night. Chris Tanev skated with the team today, but isn’t quite ready to go yet. We will see him at some point this week.

GAME DAY BATTLE HYMN
I recently picked up the 30th Anniversary edition of Arizona thrashers Sacred Reich’s debut album ‘Ignorance’, and it’s as vital as it was back in ‘87. They’re going to be releasing a new one on Metal Blade later this year, but here’s a ripper from their last release ‘Heal’ back in 1996, one that’s pretty relevant these days.
