Preview and Gamethread: Canucks vs Hurricanes

New, comments

The second night of a back to back for the Canucks. Let's hope the Canucks don't get blown away tonight.

What the over/under on another injury on this small roadtrip? Gaunce, Gagner and Granlund. Maybe it has to do with the letter "G". I put my money on Gudbranson getting injured then. The Canucks lost last night and deservedly so. The Lightning are a better team and have some really good players. And let's be honest, the Canuck players are struggling. The Sedins and Brock has disappeared lately. Yeah, Brock a goal last night, but he has also looked tired on several shifts.

The Hurricanes come into tonight only a point out of a wild card spot, but they have struggled lately and even their coach has openly criticized his players effort. Both the coach and GM are on the hot seat. The coach, Bill Peters, is in his 4th season and has not led this team to the playoffs once. The new owner may want to make changes if he thinks this team can make it to the promised land.

I leave you with this as the players with little to show this year have contracts to negotiate.
