Gamethread #17: Canucks vs Boston

The Canucks are in a three-way tie for first in the Pacific. (Ok, they are 3rd place due to tie-breakers, but let’s stay positive.) The Canucks have already beaten the Boo-urns this year. I am wearing my blue socks with colorful dots. 3 good signs right there for tonight.

Kent has set up the preview with the premise that B***** will take a run at Petey. Kent didn’t say it, but I inferred it. And let’s go a step farther and say the pest is Marchand....it’s what we all want to some degree. Marchand playing the role of douchebag and hoping the Canucks don’t take the bait...or do? The reason this is one of the must-watch games is Marchand and timing in Canuckland with all the talk of getting more physical presence.

I’m hoping that Bo shows up again tonight and the Canucks stay out of the penalty box. The Boo-urns PP could be the death of the Canucks tonight. I also really hope Tim Schaller or Gaudette get a goal tonight in front of friends and family.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we swept B***** this year?
