Gamethread #24: Canucks vs Ducks

This is it folks....this is what I have been waiting for.

When I saw the schedule I circled this date, but not because the Canucks were facing that douchebag Kesler again. This is the 1st game of 5 in a row against division opponents. The first four will be on the road. This trip can either cement this team into the top 3 of the division or be the end of playoff hopes.

And while there are some that will start each sentence with the phrase, “if it weren’t for the injuries....”, the reality is that there are always injuries and good teams find a way to win. The Canucks season should be deemed a success if they find a way back to average. In the last ten games of each team in the division, the Canucks are the worst. They have to find a way to beat an average Ducks team to get this road trip off to a good start.
