Starting Goaltender: Anders Nilsson Or South Florida’s Fav Swedish Goalie

So the 4th line agitator’s first game for us puts him right at the top of the line chart. Will Roussel out play Motte, who was brilliant on the PK last game? Yes, he will, because Motte is the press box tonight.

Last game was the kind of game that we Nuckers see once a month season - a goalie stealing a game. Wouldn’t it be fun if the Nucks D stole a game? That might require a blackout and a large moving van, but still...

Do you want to see the Panthers’ starting line up?

No? Ok. How about who won’t be? Sure.

Vancouver’s dozen year goalie poet will not be playing. Suffered a friendly-fall incident and is listed as being 2-4 weeks out. That’s a relief. For him, us and the goalie twitterati. Some of Lu’s best poetry was written when he was in pain.

Lu is still on the Nucks payroll well into the next decade and we wish him well playing well into his 50s.

Expect lots of pressure on EP. So Roussel will have to pot 2 tonight to make a good 1st impression.

Enjoy the Saturday afternoon interruption.
