Can you believe it? There’s more Canucks roster news today! Vancouver officially announces the roster that they are going to be taking overseas to help the NHL promote the game. The Canucks will be squaring off against the Los Angeles Kings for 2 games, one in Shanghai (September 21) and the other in Beijing (September 23).
The team is veteran laden featuring 16 players from last year’s roster including 2017 NHL All-Star Bo Horvat, along with faces of the franchise Daniel and Henrik Sedin. Interesting inclusions are Pro Try-Outs Scottie Upshall and Ryan White who are not under contract (yet?), but appear to have an excellent opportunity to show that they gel with the team’s core. All of the remaining camp invites will be staying in North America to play in the 3 scheduled pre-season games.
