2017 STANLEY CUP FINALS GAME 6- Pittsburgh @ Nashville

New, comments

Do or die time tonight for the Nashville Predators. If they can`t find a way to keep their home ice dominance going, they`ll be watching the Pittsburgh Penguins raise the Cup tonight.

It`s been a complete homers series to date, and the Pittsburgh Penguins hope they can buck that trend tonight. After laying a thorough beating on the Preds Thursday night, they will look to win back to back Cups tonight, while Nashville will desperately try to extend the series to a 7th game in Pittsburgh, and while it`s a no brainer that they`ve lost all 3 there in this series, anything can happen in a one game winner take all scenario.

One thing not working in Nashville`s favor is the status of Ryan Ellis. The Dman left game 5 with an injury, and may not be able to play tonight. He`s not taking part of the optional skate this afternoon, and that could mean Anthony Bitetto getting into the lineup. Bitetto hasn`t played in this post season, but has played in 14 playoff games in his career. If not Bitetto, then expect Matt Irwin to get in, and given Irwin has more experience I would think he would be the choice.  It would be a huge loss for the Preds if Ellis can`t go, he`s been outstanding for them in this playoff run.

Suuuuuuuuper stoked for Tuesday night as ANNIHILATOR kick off their first Canadian tour in 20 years in Victoria. I had a chance to see them on the tour previous to that one, and it was one hell of a show. They`re Canadian metal royalty and if you get a chance to see them in Vancouver or here in Vic you definitely should!
