There is ofen an extra buzz in the air when the Stanley Cup champions come to town, especially when a generational talent like Sidney Crosby is part of the team. For me, at least, the buzz is dampened by the Penguins poor decision to play Tom Sestito when they visited Winnipeg this week. Sestito, as Canucks fans well know, is simply bad at hockey. Unsurprisingly, he was suspended four games for concussing Toby Enstrom. That a team full of skilled players like Pittsburgh saw fit to make room for a plug like Sestito, simply so he could wreak havoc through a staged fight and injurious hit is beneath their organization.

The Vancouver Canucks will have some lineup changes tonight. Markus Granlund and Christopher Tanev are both out with food poisoning (contracted at the same restaurant, per Blake Price). Alexandre Grenier will play with the Sedins and Alex Biega will slot back in at forward. Joseph LaBate will also play for Vancouver tonight. Ryan Miller gets another start, while Richard Bachman backs him up and Jacob Markstrom inches closer to game action.

Enjoy the game, everyone. Coconuts go!
