Six games over ten days, with travel, time changes, early games and a Canucks team in the midst of a three game losing spin and whose special teams are failing. The last long Eastern trip this season was a true disaster. It’s not hard to see why locals like Iain MacIntyre, Dave Tomlinson and Jon Abbott don’t feel the Canucks will return home with a shot at the playoffs. Probably so, but until we get there, let’s watch some hockey and hold out some hope.
If nothing else, we can hope tonight’s game is better than the two turdburgers we had to endure between these two teams earlier this season.
Late news tonight that Anton Rodin needed more surgery and is out for six months. Tough break for him and for the Canucks.
Enjoy (hopefully) the game. Coconuts go!
