Happy Monday, everyone. It was a rough return for the Canucks from their bye week, and before the weekend was up, things went from bad to worse. More on that in the links below:
- The Canucks came back from their bye week to face the first place San Jose Sharks at Rogers Arena while missing five players due to the mumps. It went exactly how you thought it would go.
- The following day, Willie Desjardins announced that Anton Rodin, Ben Hutton and trainer Brian Hamilton were also showing symptoms of the mumps.
- Sunday was also the annual Canucks Super Skills event at Rogers Arena. This one, however, had a bit of a cloud over it.
- Here is what NHL.com has to say about the Canucks and the upcoming trade deadline.
Question of the Day: We are now less than 48 hours away from the trade deadline and the Canucks have yet to make a move. Are they going to balk again or pull the trigger?
