For my money, 10 am Saturday is a great start time for hockey. Watch the game, then the rest of the day is yours (unless you decide to take a drink with each dangerous, filthy play by Brad Marchand. Then you’ll need to nap in the afternoon and nurse your hangover all evening). It’s the beginning of the stretch drive, where many Saturdays you can watch hockey morning, noon and night.
Coming off a good win against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Vancouver rolls into Boston for a meeting with the Bruins. Boston won new coach Bruce Cassidy’s first game behind the bench against San Jose on Thursday. He took over from Claude Julien who, after being fired this week will rest, relax and await Jim Benning’s call the numerous offers he’s likely to get this spring.
Ryan Miller gets the start for Vancouver this morning. Anton Khudobin is in net for the Bruins.
Enjoy the game, everyone. Coconuts go!
