Just when I get a short window between rainfalls for some yard work, JB signs Jayson Megna to a one-year, one-way contract that will cost $600,000 - have to know he's not buying even a condo in Vancouver.

Here's what our illustrious, if not, industrious fearless GM says about him:

What's the upside? Deceptive speed. I'm hoping Sedin-like deceptive speed at least. He's coming off a career year with the Rags. When I say career year, I mean he put up 2 points with the Rangers - that's twice as many points than Vrby got for the Rangers last year. And doubled the number Jayson got with the Pens in '14.

He also put up 44pts (15 goals, 29 helpers) with the Hartford Wolf Pack, which is a tougher team than the Wolf Pack from the Hangover Part 1. Not sure about Part 2 tho, that monkey was sneaky.
