Welcome My Friends to the Season That Never Seems to End: Canucks @ Flames

New, comments

The final road game of the year, in the same city as the final road game of last year. Is this what they call a must lose for both teams?

Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports

After last night's sad, underwhelming performance in Edmonton, the Canucks head down the highway and play the team that was neither smart, nor fast, enough to bilk the taxpayers ask the provincial government for a brand new arena.

Canucks and Flames go into the game tied with 73 points. The winner will, for now, vault past the Winnipeg Jets.

The Ronalds Kenins is back tonight, and Andrey Pedan remains up front. Canucks lines for tonight are:

Daniel Sedin - Henrik Sedin - Jannik Hansen

Alex Burrows - Bo Horvat - Emerson Etem

Ronalds Kenins - Markus Granlund - Jake Virtanen

Andrey Pedan - Brendan Gaunce - Derek Dorsett

Dan Hamhuis - Chris Tanev

Ben Hutton - Nikita Tryamkin

Matt Bartkowski- Alex Biega

Ryan Miller

The Calgary Flames lines and pairings are like this:

Johnny Gaudreau - Sean Monahan - Hunter Shinkaruk

Drew Shore - Mikael Backlund - Joe Colborne

Michael Ferland - Sam Bennett - Josh Jooris

Derek Grant - Matt Stajan - Brandon Bollig

T.J. Brodie - Dougie Hamilton

Mark Giordano - Derek Engelland

Jyrki Jokipakka -Jakub Nakladal

Joni Ortio

Enjoy the game, everyone.
