2015 WJC Pre-Tournament: Canada vs Belarus

Hey, you probably had plans to get some of that shopping done today. You might wanna postpone that and turn to TSN as we get a chance to watch our boy Jake and Team Canada take on Belarus in their first warm up before the battle begins in 7 days.

Since we're all feeling pretty good about last night's shootout win over Detroit (and the improbable way they got there) we deserve a little pre-Christmas treat, and what could be better than watching Team Canada prepare to defend their title at the World Junior Championships in Finland?

This morning the Canadians, led by Jake Virtanen and Red Wings draft pick Joe Hicketts (from Kamloops, and the captain of the Victoria Royals) take to the ice as they meet Belarus in the first exhibition match before the tournament kicks off Boxing Day against the USA.

What I would like to see is some predictions: Can Canada repeat? Will the US upset them? Russia? Sweden? And don't count out the hosts, Finland.  Enjoy the game and see you tomorrow for coffee.
