Comets Update: Grenier Sent Down

The Canucks made another move this morning, paring down the roster a bit in advance of the Utica Comets training camp in France.

Alex Grenier has been sent down to Utica today, the Canucks announced. That leaves the roster at 30 players

They also announced yesterday that the Comets signed Curtis Valk. Valk, the son of former Canuck Garry, turned a few heads at last year's Young Stars tournament in Penticton.

They also released their roster for their upcoming training camp in France (note that Grenier and Valk aren't listed, but should be in the lineup)

The Comets Training Camp Roster consists of 23 players (14 forwards, seven defensemen, and two goalies):

The Utica Comets and the Syracuse Crunch are in Lyon, France for training camp until Oct. 6. The Comets will play three preseason games, two against the Crunch and one against the Dragons de Rouen.
