GAME DAY: Canucks @ Lightning

While we knew the Ryan Miller shutout streak couldn't last forever, he sure as hell made it look like it. The Canucks wrap up the road trip and their last game before the All-Star Break with a chance to get some revenge on that other Florida team...

For all of the ups and downs that the Canucks have endured so far this season, there's one aspect that seems to have gone unnoticed by many, and that's just how good this team has been on the road. They've won 15 of of their 24 road games this year, and with two Bettman points tossed in there, that's a pretty significant accomplishment. They're certainly a different team on the road, and while the games aren't necessarily the prettiest, they manage to get the 2 points, and often without handing two out to rivals.

They have a pretty significant challenge tonight as they take on the high-powered offense of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and while they are playing their second back to back set in the last week, they're playing with a ton of confidence right now. That being said, the Lightning are beasts at home (18-4-1) and the Canucks will have their work cut out for them.

Normally Eddie Lack would be in on the tail end of the back to back, but with Lack still under the weather Ryan Miller will get the start again tonight, it would seem. Brad Richardson, banged up in the Carolina game, will also probably be a no-go tonight for the Canucks.

Just announced this morning, legendary Canadian thrashers SACRIFICE are coming to Vancouver April 17th.
