It's unfortunate that Jake Virtanen and Cole Cassels aren't ready to go yet, would like to get a look at these two before the end of the preseason.

Around The League:

Philadelphia fans laughing at Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin not being ready to go for camp aren't laughing this morning as word out of Philly is Claude Giroux suffered an injury this morning... Meanwhile, Minnesota have suspended G Josh Harding for injuring himself. Turns out he fractured his foot kicking a wall in what is being called 'an altercation with a teammate'. Harding will be out at least two months, and won't be getting paid in that time, while the Wild will be getting cap relief for his salary...

Kickass Metal Tune Of The Day

The Exodus attack is back! The Bay Area thrashers are preparing to unleash 'Blood In, Blood Out' and not only does it mark the return of vocalist Steve 'Zetro' Sousa, but the track we're gonna play for you today marks a special reunion as original guitarist Kirk Hammett (whatever happened to him, anyway?) guest stars on "Salt The Wound". Nice to hear Kirk playing metal again... Looking forward to this one if this track is any indication.
