The Canucks' coach search / interviewing process is ongoing. From Dan Murphy:
So far the #canucks have interviewed M. Johnson, Crawford, Horachek and Bylsma. Desjardins and Arniel interviews should happen this week.

#canucks wanted to talk to Stevens and Blashill but the Kings and Wings wouldn't let them go. Coach won't be hired until after draft.

Peter Horachek was terminated by the Florida Panthers in late April, but has a lot of experience.
Marc Crawford? Seriously?
John Stevens is staying with the Kings and is getting a promotion.
Jeff Blashill is current coach of the Grand Rapids Griffins. The Wings are not parting ways with him.
Willie Desjardins just won the Calder Cup with the Texas Stars. The Pittsburgh Penguins are pursuing him also.
Scott Arniel had a rough ride as a coach in Columbus but just got to the Stanley Cup Finals with Alain Vigneault. Arniel knows a lot of the Canucks players because he coached the Manitoba Moose.
SANTORELLI
Mike Santorelli was on the Team 1040 today talking about his shoulder injury and his desire to stay with the Canucks. 100% he says. Check out the interview here. Santorelli scored 10 goals and 28 points in 49 games this past season before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in late January. The unwanted Santa was signed as a free agent by the Canucks on July 6 and then provided an excellent spark for the team in every department. It will be interesting to see where the Canucks go with this, Kesler, etc. Is Santorelli a 2nd line center? Will he accept less money and be a 3rd line center? Time will tell. So many dominoes need to fall into place hey?
I've been on a huge Faith No More kick lately. Been watching a lot of their live shows on the Tube. Of course, their biggest hit that propelled them to stardom was this one:
But good lord did they make so much more brilliant music than that!
