BAH! Kevin Bieksa DID say on Friday that the team is till playing for pride's sakes. Well prove it. Here is my last memory of the Canucks - Kings:
It's been downhill ever since. Juice, the Kings have you whooped 4-0 this season. So...prove it? Yea! Fucking prove it!
So when you hear about John Tortorella being a fail as a Canucks' coach...remember THOSE times. The Canucks have been a shit-slide of fail ever since that loss in the first round to the Kings, and followed up with a fail in the 2012-13 playoffs against the Sharks. Torts has not been able to remedy the fragile state of this team. And when I say "fragile" I mean that this Canucks team fails to score goals, shits the bed defensively, and does not have a winning mindset and even CHOKES. Period. Especially when it matters most.
Of course, John Tortorella and staff have to accept blame for this fail of a season. So do the players. So does Mike Gillis. All three factions have placed blame on themselves at this point. Great! But that doesn't make anything better. The real "remedies" to this Canucks' failure of a season will come soon enough.
Honestly, I'm not in the mood to do a game preview. The Kings are possibly favorites to win the Stanley Cup and the Canucks are setting up tee times...so fuck it.
