It will be interesting to see how the Canucks respond after having their asses handed to them by the Maple Leafs on Leaf-mad HNIC. If this seasons' Canucks performances are any indicator, we should see a solid effort /rebound. Here are the highlights from the last time these 2 teams played in November:
OT magic, anyone? That was beautiful!
Word is that if Shawn Matthias can't play this game after taking a Macho Man elbow from Leafs' Stephane Robidas, Nicklas Jensen will draw into the lineup. Sorry for being a bit wary with that because Matthias has been kicking royal ass on that 3rd line. Big shoes to fill, Dr. Jensen, or whoever slots on the wing on that 3rd line.
The Canucks kill opponents by offering 4 dangerous lines of death. All 4 lines have to put forth an effort. I saw tape to tape passing brilliancy against the Penguins and then that all disappeared against the Leafs.
KNOW YOUR ENEMY
The Sens are in a bit of trouble, 4 points out of a playoff spot. I recommend they lay down and die. Tank..whatever. I found this to be an interesting quote from Sens' coach Paul Maclean:
Paul MacLean said he's scared to death every night of who they're playing, and scared to death of who HE'S playing.— Andrew Berkshire (@AndrewBerkshire) December 7, 2014
Yea, he actually said that shit. Maybe there's a motivational psychological angle there. Or maybe he's gonna get fired soon. No idea. How about we kick their asses and find out?
The Sens recently signed Daniel Alfredsson to a 1-day contract so he could retire a Senator:
Excuse me while I don't give a rat's ass. Damned Sens. I hate them. Alfie was a good player, no doubt. But he and the Sens are my enemy. He also left the Sens to try win a Cup with Detroit....and failed. That makes me happy. He doesn't deserve a Cup anyway.

I know there's a lof of shit going on with cops in the USA right now, but check out this latest shit that happened in Kamloops. Now...before you jump to anti-cop conclusions on what you are seeing in the media, remember that these guys have families to go home to. I'm not necessarily justifying anything here. I'm just sayin': keep your mind open.
