As I said earlier: I have been doing this blogging thing for a long time.
But before I get started here is a broad definition of "community" via Merriam-Webster":

We have always stated that we are a community. Our rules are simple:
1. We like civility. You like civility. We all like civility!
2. Roll with the punches if you're going to throw 'em.
3. Outright name calling and blatant insults won't be tolerated.
4. Enjoy yourself.
So....I think everything is clear at this point.
If you do not like any opinions of writers OR commenters' opinions here at Nucks Misconduct then:

You took the fun out of this great site with your pessimism (realism, as you call it), Forty. Congrats, you won. We used to be able to joke around at our bad luck, complain halfheartedly about how "difficult" it is as a Canucks fan.

Agree with Coach
Yep, its late, but the combination of young kids and a new puppy have kept me up way past a civilized bedtime. Normally I am a lurker, mostly because I always forget my password. However, Coach’s comments over the past few weeks and today have made me get back on board, for a day.
Coach, thanks for your perspectives, I have enjoyed them and agree with most. In particular, I agree with your decision. I am a fan, sometimes critical (like, jesus, Torts????), sometimes sporting my rose coloured glasses. However, I always try to see what good we can make out of a situation, which doesn’t mean tanking for McDavid. I am sick to death of Forty and his cup not only not half full but smashed on the floor into a million pieces.
Even more so, "phantaztic", who I think may be an avatar created by Forty to have someone agree with everything he says. Yeah, Mr. phantaztic, I too have season tickets, in the Club Section, though I only pay $17,000 for my pair. Maybe you have 4 seats, I don’t give a shit, you are spectacularly pompous. My "family did this", "I talk to management" blah, blah, blah, (of course I am paraphrasing), but holy shit, is that annoying, particularly because you likely inherited it all, even if you are not making it up.
Mr. Zanstrom, even your curmudgeonly charm is not enough to yet again win out. All I see on this site lately (maybe its Christmas and most folks have turkey comas) is Forty wishing the end was nigh and phantaztic parroting the same thing, interspersed with the occasional interesting comment. That gets pretty fucking boring after a while. I will find other ways to be a fan, as I did before finding Nucks, long ago. And, no, I will not look for "more reality and positivity on Twitter". What I will do is what I do with most everything else, read factual information and form my own opinions.

However, before I too sign off like Coach, I would like to thank the many wonderful commenters, like Coach (who I salute for your tenacious efforts), Nick Mercadente, the ever-optimistic Vancitydan, Yankee, Kent Basky, Mr Zanberg-storm, jimmy.cinnic (who always makes me laugh) and missy (who studies too much). To those others, life ain’t that bad (unless Forty is really a Coilers fan and has been trolling us the whole time, then it really is that bad).

I hate that it comes to this but...
I have to ask you fans something:
What are your expectations of this team moving forward? What do you want to see from this team? I don't necessarily mean in 2014. I mean beyond that.
Are the Sedins in decline? Do we need another top line? Who can be that top line in the near future?
Me? I'm taking the optimistic route on this one. The Sedins are great players but need (as always) a supporting cast. Always have, always will. Do I like the current supporting cast? No. NOT CURRENTLY. But the season is only 34 games in. I am patient. Many are not patient. Many see this team as over the hill in age limit and want change. Many also accept possibility. Nothing wrong with that.
What we at NM welcome here are all possibilities for this season and the future. We welcome ALL voices to be heard.
Some bleed blue and green fiercely, Some hate the current state of the team. Some come here to form/maintain their OWN POW. If you can't handle the heat..get the fuck out of the kitchen. Honestly that is the bottom line.
All opinions are welcomed here! So when certain peeps in the comments section voice their opinion and you disagree with them:
