I must say, I got a good chuckle out of Vancitydan's post the other day. Edmonton thinks they have a full-on rivalry with us? I guess it serves them right to follow their loss to us with a 7-1 tanking to the team that is in Vancouver tonight. Haven't you heard? The Blackhawks are back in town!

They've had a good start to the season yet again, only 1 loss more than us in the same number of games played. As mentioned, they routed Edmonton last night, and Marian Hossa came away with 4 points from that. I've constantly used the idea of "Oh, they whipped Edmonton last night, they'll be out of firepower tonight!" in my gamethreads, but it's time to retire that notion. Let's face it: anyone can whip Edmonton.
