As the IIHF's deadline of 8:00am PST on January 7th approaches for the submission of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics Men's Hockey rosters, the countries are each taking their turn in the spotlight. Here below are all the 12 teams who made the cut, and all the players they picked.
I have organized them here based on their organized groups and current IIHF rankings.
Group A

Any Canucks?: Word from the mothership is that forward Ronald Kenins signed a contract with the Canucks as a prospect last summer, so technically we do have someone! He's been playing for Zurich in the Swiss-A league this season.
Other notable NHL players: Just a single NHL player, Zemgus Girgensons from Buffalo. This team is mostly KHL players.
