There is some excellent news coming out of the Canucks camp in regards to 3 injured star players.
Alexandre Burrows will return to the Canucks' lineup on Saturday against Calgary. He will be wearing a jaw protector for a while.
Roberto Luongo and Alex Edler are both day to day with their respective injuries. All 3 took part in a full practice on today before the team jetted out to California.
Zac Dalpe practiced on the top line with the Sedins, so expect that tandem trio (shaddup Dan! :)) to stay together, and hopefully continue their clicking ways. Dalpe has a wicked shot that I didn't know about. That's what happens when you are usually stuck on the 4th line. Keep it up, Zac!
More on this from Daniel Fung at Canucks.com.
KNOW YOUR ENEMY
-Since December 31, 2011, the Canucks are 1-3-1 in their last 5 games at The Staples Center. They have only scored 6 goals in those 5 games. The Kings dominate the Canucks defensively at home. It is what it is now. It's kinda scary actually. The Canucks need to get in there and play a full 60. I am sick of seeing odd-man rushes against from those guys. I am sick of seeing Jonathan Quick stopping almost everything. The Canucks need some guys crashing his crease.
-Watch out for that jackass Dustin Brown, who is the reason Luongo is still out. Someone needs to beat his head in. Last game, Brown was pretty quiet, until the Canucks started hitting him. Then he woke up. So..beating his head in is the best option. F*cking rat.
-The Kings have cooled off lately. They are 2-6-1 in their last 9. One of those victories was over the Canucks on January 4. L.A. has fallen to 6th in the West, only 2 points ahead of Vancouver.

Saw this at F.O.D. today and got a good laugh at it:
The title of this preview post has been brought to you by Phantom Planet:
The O.C. was a pretty decent show I thought. No shortage of girls.
GO CANUCKS GO!
What a total boost it would be to beat L.A. and then Anaheim in the next 2 games.
