3-2 Sharks

Battle Of California

Kesler: 2-0-2

Boyle: 1-2-3

OK, so I have already bagged on the Sedin brothers for not pulling their weight and some have misunderstood my point. I was hacking the two biggest superstar players primarily because they get paid the most, get the most ice time out of the Vancouver forwards, and frankly, (and fuck the advanced stats) have sucked in this series. Are you seriously going to defend the Sedins because of their puck possession numbers this series? Jesus Christ, that's as bad as the people that blame Roberto Luongo for the Canucks being down 2 games right now. My point, on my SBN pedestal, is that the Canucks need goals scored and every dick not named Kesler is not getting the job done.

The only teams that had more home wins than the Sharks this season were the Conference-winning Blackhawks and Penguins. So when people were saying that Game 2 was a must win for the Canucks, they were not shitting you. Well, except for the fact that the playoffs are a new animal.

Like I said: I bagged on the Sedins for being fails enough lately but let me point out the fails of the supporting cast.

Alexandre Burrows: 0 points in his last 7 games. Holy shit, He is no longer Mr. Everything.

Derek Roy: 1 goal and 0 assists in his last 5 games.

Chris Higgins: 0 points in his last 7 games. What?

Jannik Hansen: 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 6 games.

Mason Raymond: 1 assist in his last 8 games. Wow. Failboat.

Maxim Lapierre: 0 points in his last 9 games.God damn it,

Alex Edler: 1 goal and no assists in his last 6 games.10,000 fails on top of that.

Dan Hamhuis: 2 assists in his last 7 games......m'EH

Jason Garrison: 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 7 games.

Zack Kassian: 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 13 games played. Seriously, if you are clinging to this kid being some kind of effective NHL power forward at his current age, you are a god damned fool. Kassian is a 4th liner of less right now.

Andrew Ebbett: 0 points in his last 9 games

Roberto Luongo

Ryan Kesler in Game 2 minus the ass infection.

For all of the futility listed in the BAD column above, it can all change in one fucking night. Simple as that, I know it, I may be uber-negative lately, but I understand how it can all change.

End of fucking story.

Please Vigneault....please put Jordan Schroeder in and take out Ebbett. Any spark is needed at this point.
